Drawing upon the talents of eight of the UK’s finest designer-makers, the ‘Collective Invites’ exhibition (23-28 April 2018) will showcase the best of contemporary multi-disciplinary craft, encompassing the fields of ceramics, jewellery, textiles, lighting & furniture, all in the distinctive setting of the gallery at 67 York Street, Marylebone, London.
On Thursday 26th, there will be an informal evening of talks from a selection of the makers. Jacky Puzey, Rebecca Sarah Black and Hannah Tounsend will talk about their work & the processes involved behind each specialism.
The evening is available to registered attendees only. There are two time slots available on the Thursday, 5.30pm and 6.30pm.
About 'Collective Invites':
‘Collective Invites’ is a selling exhibition endorsing the skill, creativity, ideas and sophisticated craftsmanship that each maker brings to the fore, allowing the public to meet the makers involved and to forge a bond between them, with bespoke commissions welcome. New concepts, designs and combinations will be on display throughout the week developing a unique synergy between the craft and makers on show.
Coming from across the breadth of the UK all eight makers have recently been part of the Crafts Council’s highly respected Hothouse scheme.

are: Rebecca Sarah Black ( Contemporary Jewellery - pictured), Brook Studio (Furniture), Byron & Gómez (Furniture), Kate Colin (Lighting), Amanda Denison (Contemporary Jewellery), Jacky Puzey (Digital Embroidery), Hannah Tounsend (Ceramics) and Arjan van Dal.
